Mandatory Steps to Complete After Installing Oracle Access Management or Oracle Identity Manager

The following are the steps that must be followed after installing Oracle Access Management 11g Release 2 (11.1.2) or Oracle Identity Manager 11g Release 2 (11.1.2):

Ensure that the following pre-requisites are met, before moving to step 2:

Ensure that you have configured the domain using the IAM_ORACLE_HOME/common/bin/config.sh script.

Ensure that you have configured the Database Security Store using the following commands:

IAM_ORACLE_HOME/common/bin/wlst.sh IAM_ORACLE_HOME/common/tools/configureSecurityStore.py -d -c IAM -p -m [create/join]
Copy the jps-config.xml file to jps-config.xml_old for recovery and reference.

Do the following to edit the jps-config.xml file:

Look for the XML element
Delete the following two entries:

After you delete the first two properties their default values will be set. The default values are true and 600000 (10 minutes) respectively:

Add following entry in same section:

The edited XML must look like the following:
Runtime PDP service instance
